Learning Time product became a finalist for Revere Award
Learning Values with Lucy and Wiz named 2015 Revere Award Finalist!
The REVERE (Recognizing Valuable Educational Resources) Awards recognize creative resources that engage 21st century teachers and learners. Produced by the Association of American Publishers (AAP) PreK-12 Learning Group, the awards are the only of their kind to recognize learning resources in all media, for all ages, and covering a wide array of educational subject areas and learning environments.
We are so honored that Learning Values with Lucy and Wiz was selected as a REVERE Awards finalist in ‘Beyond the Classroom’ category. REVERE Award finalists were chosen by evaluation of quality content and design, audience engagement and appropriateness, usability and originality and effectiveness, along with comments and recommendations given by judges. More than 100 evaluators in the education and publishing industries judged the applications. Winners were announced during the REVERE Awards Gala on June 3 in Washington, DC.
Learning Values with Lucy and Wiz is an essential part of Learning Time A+ Program, and it helps children build the right attitudes, develop emotional intelligence and become good human beings. We knew when we created Learning Values with Lucy and Wiz that it was one of a kind. To be recognized for a REVERE Award is further acknowledgement that our products are making a difference for the new generation of learners! Here’s what one of the judges said:
This fantastic series balances content, language accessibility, technology and values to produce a wonderful engaging tool. The series has thought of everything: books are organized by age level, labeled according to a diverse group of nations, available in several languages and address a variety of values. It’s rare that a single series can address so many vectors and do so successfully. For what the books present, they are one of the most effective and accessible set of materials I have ever seen.
